Indoor tracking in community correction solution

1.Stay Home Requirements
Community correction targets should always stay at home when they are in probation period. They can go out for shopping or some sports, but most of the day they should stay at home by wearing the ankle tracking. Indoor tracking is critical for that use case. The officer can say them actually stay at home.

2. GPS only locate in open sky.
GPS only have good performance when it is in open sky. If the device in indoor, it will keep on search the satellite signal. it will consume more power but not getting location at all.

3.Instant Leave Home Alarm
Because the ankle tracker is portable device, we need to have a saving power algorithm, we can not have the GPS get location every 1 minutes or shorter interval. How to send alarm to the officer while the community correction target leave home. the indoor tracking beacon will be a good option.

Implment Indoor beacon with Ankle Tracker

We can install the beacon at every room of the target’s house, mark the indoor location on the layout map like the map below, when the target is moving indoor, the officer will have a clear view where he is. It is very easy to implement.
