They are designed with ultra-low power consumption and can be fully functional for up to three years. The Traxbean system works by using smartwatches and Bluetooth BLE beacons to achieve indoor positioning, mainly relying on the Bluetooth module in the watch to search for surrounding Bluetooth BLE beacons. When a person wearing a smart GPS watch enters these premises, the Bluetooth module in the watch searches for and connects to these beacons, usually two or three at the same time, and transmits the Mac address of these beacons to the server. The server software can use the installation position and multi-point cross-positioning of these Bluetooth BLE beacons to achieve accurate indoor positioning, usually with an accuracy of 1-5 meters or more, accurate to the floor and room.

In order to achieve indoor positioning, it is first necessary to obtain the accurate plan of each floor of the venue, and upload the plan to the software to achieve indoor positioning map engine. In this way, the floor plan can be converted into a map with a coordinate system, a feature that can be achieved through a number of open source tools. The first step after making the interior map engine is to upload the floor plan and name the floor plan, for example, this is the first floor of X building. After uploading the plan, you can mark the actual installation point of the beacon on the map, and add the Mac address and address name of the beacon, such as conference room A, activity Room B, etc. With standard beacons, the coordinates of the map and the name of the plan will be saved, which will be used to calculate the coordinates of the indoor positioning. The server software receives the beacon information uploaded by the smartwatch and finds the coordinates of its installation through the MAC address of the Bluetooth beacon and accurately calculates the position through multiple coordinates.
